Following a recent meeting of the LOI board, plans are now well advanced for the next major LOI consultation. This will be a regional consultation for leaders from the Middle East and North Africa and will be held in Egypt in November 2019 at the invitation of the Coptic Church. The theme will be Christian Witness : A life worthy of the gospel of Christ and will address both the joyful and sacrificial aspects of witness as experienced and understood in our two traditions. Invitations have already been issued to many leaders and speakers are now being lined up for what promises to be a lively consultation. Whether you are attending or not please for pray for this important consultation. Those who are on the LOI journey with us but live outside this region (Middle East/North Africa) will be pleased to know that our next International consultation is hopefully being planned for 2020 – more news later.
