During our LOI consultations in Albania we have been very much aware that in order to relate positively to another Christian tradition you need to understand their, and your own, history. We are all products of history. In this connection one of our Steering Committee members, Dr. Tim Grass, writes:

Dear friends, I would like to invite proposals for communications to be offered at the 2015 conference of the Ecclesiastical History Society (28-30 July 2015, York, England; some may be accepted later for a day conference in London on 16 January 2016). The theme is: ‘Translating Christianity: Word, Image, Sound & Object in the Circulation of the Sacred from the Birth of Christ until the present day’. You can find the full Call for Papers online, along with the form on which to submit a proposal and further information about the conference, at: http://www.history.ac.uk/ehsoc/conferences. Proposal forms should be returned to me at tgrass.work@gmail.com. We expect this to be an international gathering, and I look forward to hearing from some of you. Do contact me if you have any questions.

Best wishes

Tim Grass (Assistant Editor, EHS)
